This April, join the Delaware Historical Society for Saturday film screenings celebrating Arab American Heritage Month, Jazz Appreciation Month, and Earth Month. Screenings are available with admission to the Delaware History Museum.

On April 5, we’ll show “Connecting Cultures: Simon Shaheen,” a documentary about internationally acclaimed Palestinian-American musician Simon Shaheen.

The short film follows Shaheen in his daily life in the Bay Ridge neighborhood of Brooklyn where he lives, and documents his performances at Symphony Space in New York City and the Arab American National Museum in Dearborn, Michigan.
